In line with the Fund’s series of collaborations, specifically with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) which took place in 2015, the Fund arranged for an evaluation of the inventions patented by Kuwaiti inventors at the Sabah Al Ahmad Centre for Giftedness and Creativity.

In line with the collaboration with KFAS and The Sabah Al Ahmad Centre for Giftedness and Creativity, inventors presented their ideas and inventions to a panel of judges, who included the Fund’s board member, Daoud Marafi; Meshari Al Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Technical Sector; Jehad Al Qabandi, Executive Director of Operations; and Mohammad Abdullah, Executive Director of Support Services, in addition to a representative from the Kuwait International Bank (KIB).

The panelists expressed their interest in the various projects that were presented, which varied from medical, technical, environmental and entertainment inventions. The cooperation between the two sides aimed to encourage entrepreneurs, particularly outside-the-box innovators, to take steps towards commercial investment in a way that serves the State of Kuwait.
