As part of their continuous efforts to build an inclusive and innovative ecosystem for entrepreneurs, The National Fund for SMEs has announced its participation in the ArabNet conference in Kuwait as a Platinum Sponsor, which will be held on October 4 and 5 at the Array Ballroom.
In fact, after the announcement of the KD2 billions of Kuwait National Fund for SMEs in 2013, the Kuwaiti market has witnessed a surge in entrepreneurship support and institutions: funds, co-working spaces, angels and investors. Also, the Kuwait market has turned out to be a prime market for the success of digital companies, with a robust national digital payment gateway, as well as high internet (91%), smartphone (93%) and social media (96%) penetration rates.
It is based on these insights and developments that the ArabNet will host an opening panel entitled:” Kuwait Embracing Digital Entrepreneurship” to discuss the obstacles and opportunities for new entrepreneurs and the digital ecosystem in the presence of Kuwait’s leading entrepreneurship advocates amongst whom are: Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani, Vice Chairman at The National Fund for SMEs Development, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of State for Youth Affairs and Essa Al Essa, Chairman at Mefazec as well as other personalities.
Additionally, the conference will cover other topics such as trends and opportunities in Omnichannel Retail, Online Payments, Digital Banking and Business Transformation; Social Media platforms and trends, Native and Programmatic Advertising and Video Content, through panel discussions and workshops.
Youth, entrepreneurs, leading business figures, incubators and globally renowned speakers will convene to build business bridges in Kuwait and across the MENA region, believing in the high potential of the youth in the country.
